Student Achievements
Each year, thousands of students achieve a qualification or complete a course at Wigan & Leigh College. This provides them with the opportunity to progress on to University, an apprenticeship or gain employment.
We are proud of all students, many of whom come back into College to share their experiences with our tutors and current students.
The former St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic High School pupil has secured a degree apprenticeship with Scottish Power as a Power Network Engineer.
Former Dean Trust Rose Bridge pupil, Cassia achieved outstanding grades and has since progressed to the University of St Andrews to read MA (Hons) Psychology.
Former St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic High School pupil, Adam gained a lucrative degree apprenticeship with Sellafield Ltd after gaining top marks in his BTEC.
Former Ladybridge High School pupil, Katie achieved fantastic grades in her A Levels and is now at Edge Hill University studying BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS.

Student Governor, Andrei achieved the highest grade of three Distinction Stars and has progressed to study Outdoor and Adventure Education at the University of Chichester.

Tom, a former Deanery High School pupil, achieved top marks in his course leading him to progress to Edge Hill University where he gained a 2:1 in Film and Television Production.
Tom Davies studied his Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport at Leigh College and is now a Catalans Dragons First Team player.
