Welcome to the Department
Hello and welcome to the Floristry and Land-based department here at Wigan & Leigh College. My name is Vicky Madden and I am the Head of Department. I have taught floristry for over 20 years and have built up extensive industry experience that has allowed me to develop and inspire many students to become talented employees and successful business owners and floristry teachers.
The department has been identified as “Outstanding” for many years due to its student centred approach and the dedication and support it provides for all its learners. Learners benefit from a vibrant and specialist environment that inspires learners to reach their full potential. You will enjoy a mix of theory and practical sessions that will provide you with the technical ability and knowledge required to be successful in your career.
