Welcome to the Department

My Name is Vicky Madden and I am the manager of Foundation Studies at the college. I personally studied at the college when I left school and then multiple times later as an adult, where I gained my Certificate in Education and BA in Education and Training under the University of Huddersfield. The Foundation Studies department offers a wide range of learners the opportunity to develop not just their maths and English skills but also to increase their self-confidence, independence and resilience to progress in a wide range of vocational areas. We provide an excellent level of support and guidance to learners ranging from Entry 1 level up to Level 1.
