Lee Kearney

Father-of-two Lee returned to learn as an adult student when he came back to college to undertake a full time Level 2 Plumbing course. He has since progressed to Level 3 and is aiming to get an apprenticeship or full time employment.

He currently works in maintenance and has previously been a healthcare assistant in a hospital setting.

“As an adult I have a different mind-set now and I get on with my studies and having that maturity about you helps. I enjoy completing a project and looking back at the work which gives me a buzz. I like that the course is very hands-on too.”
