AAT Level 1 Access Award in Bookkeeping

What will I study?

Access to bookkeeping: introduces the role of a bookkeeper and simple bookkeeping techniques. You will study topics such as the role of the bookkeeper, financial transactions, customer and supplier transactions and receipts and payments.

How long is the course?

18 weeks

How will I be assessed?

Assessments will involve written and numerical assignments

What qualifications do I need?

The programme is entirely open access and there are no prescribed entry requirements, although assessments will involve written and numerical assignments and therefore students should possess basic communication and number skills.

What can I progress onto?

You can progress to Level 2 Diploma in Accounting.
