Is this course for me?

If you enjoy cooking and would like to learn how to make different types of pastry and pastry products then this course is for you. This is a beginners course no previous experience necessary.

What will I study?

You will learn how to make choux, shortcrust, sweet crust and rough puff pastry and products derived from these such as chocolate eclairs, fruit tart etc.

How long is the course?

6 weeks

How will I be assessed?

Through visual observation whilst cooking and verbal questions and discussion

What qualifications do I need?

No formal entry requirements.

What can I progress onto?

Level 2 Patisserie certificate

You will need and apron and kitchen appropriate shoes/trousers.
