Is this course for me?

This qualifications are suitable for 16-19 year olds, or for individuals of any age wanting an introduction to the variety of construction trades, to gain skills in those areas and perhaps to decide which trade is the right one to pursue a career in. No previous knowledge or experience is required.

What will I study?

This qualifications provide the ideal introduction to the construction industry and cover essential skills in the following construction trades: bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, plastering, painting and decorating and construction operations

How long is the course?

Full-Time for one academic year.

How will I be assessed?

A variety of theory and practical assessments inline with the awarding bodies requirements

What qualifications do I need?

A minimum of 5 GCSE subject graded 9-1.

What can I progress onto?

Level 1 qualifications in specialist areas
