Is this course for me?

The AM2 test is an industry recognised trade test that is controlled by the National Electrotechnical Training (NET) Organisation and the Sector Skills Council for the Electrotechnical Industry.

What will I study?

Re-sit of Section A - Composite installation. Risk Assessment & Safe Isolation.

How long is the course?

3 x 8 hour days

How will I be assessed?

A timed practical assessment in five sections. The AM2 requires candidates to perform a set of common occupational tasks and procedures that a fully qualified electrician might face when working in commercial or industrial premises.

What qualifications do I need?

To have experience in the industry or completing an apprenticeship in Electrical Installation.

What can I progress onto?

To be a fully-fledged electrician and gain JIB gold card
