Is this course for me?

The course is specifically aimed at practising electricians, electrical technicians and engineers with experience of electrical installations and associated inspection and testing. We strongly recommend candidates undertake the Solar PV training before attending this course.

What will I study?

This course gives you the necessary training to install EESS / Battery Storage Systems. The training covers the installation of dedicated electrical energy storage systems (EESS) in accordance with the IET Code of Practice for Electrical Energy Storage Systems

What qualifications do I need?

Candidates must hold their 18th Edition qualification and must meet one of the following requirements:



N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures) and BS 7671: 2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) qualification.



Or



Equivalent historical qualifications



Or



ECS Gold Card, JIB Electrician or Approved Electrician Card
