Is this course for me?

This is the perfect course if you are unsure of whether to specialise in hairdressing or beauty therapy. This will provide you with the foundations to progress onto level 1 hair and beauty.

What will I study?

An introduction to the basics of both hairdressing and beauty therapy. As well as functional skills for both English and Maths

How long is the course?

Full time for one academic year.

How will I be assessed?

Continual assessment in both practical and theory.

What qualifications do I need?

No formal entry requirements.

What can I progress onto?

Progression onto Level 1 Hairdressing or Level 1 Beauty Therapy.

Other Information

Both Image Centres have state of the art facilities offering a realistic working environment.

You will need to purchase a kit and Image Centre uniform. Kits and Uniforms must be brought/worn to ensure admission to the salons for health and safety purposes.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in trips, shows and competitions.
