Is this course for me?

A mixed programme of A Levels and a BTEC Level 3 qualification as an alternative route to university and degree apprenticeships for those who prefer a combination of coursework and exams.

What will I study?

Choose two A Levels from: History Economics English Literature or English Combined alongside the BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Business.

How long is the course?

Full time for two academic years

How will I be assessed?

Through a combination of coursework and exams.

What qualifications do I need?

A minimum of 5 GCSE subjects graded 9 - 5. If you wish to study A Level English you will need a grade 6 at GCSE.

What can I progress onto?

Successful students may secure a place at a Russell Group University studying business and finance related degrees. Trained accountants can expect to earn more than £45k a year. Other careers include Accounting Technician, Human Resources Manager, Business Analyst, Investment Banker, Project Manager, Financial Analyst, Management Consultant, Credit Controller, Recruitment Consultant, Training Manager and Auditor.
