Is this course for me?

A mixed programme of A Levels and a BTEC Level 3 qualification as an alternative route to university and degree apprenticeships for those who prefer a combination of coursework and exams.

What will I study?

Choose two A Levels from Maths Physics Chemistry Business alongside the BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Computing.

How long is the course?

Full time for two academic years

How will I be assessed?

You will undertake external examinations and produce coursework.

What qualifications do I need?

A minimum of 5 GCSE subjects graded 9 - 5. If you wish to study A Level English, maths or science you will need a grade 6 at GCSE.

What can I progress onto?

We will support you to apply for places at prestigious universities nationwide, or in securing employment in the computer science industry. There are many career prospects. Games Developers can expect to earn over £50k a year. Other careers include IT Security Engineer, Computing and Systems Manager, Forensic Computer Analyst, Network Engineer, Software Engineer, Ethical Hacker, IT Director and Cloud architect.
