Is this course for me?

The world of business and economics offers great career opportunities for those aspiring to work in a fast paced, high pressured environment.

Business careers are among the fastest-growing and in-demand occupations because every industry needs business professionals.

What will I study?

You will study a suite of relevant A Levels. You will also benefit from the Academic Development Day which includes: Extended Project Qualification, a work placement, professional qualifications, charity work and optional group sessions.

You will study A Levels in:

Business

Economics

Politics

+ a further AS Level in year 1

Following successful completion of the AS year, you may choose to continue to study all four subjects to A Level, or you may progress with three subjects and retain an AS qualification in one, which will contribute to your UCAS or higher apprenticeship applications.

How long is the course?

Full-time for two academic years

How will I be assessed?

Through exams and coursework.

What qualifications do I need?

A minimum of 5 GCSE subjects graded 9 - 5 (including English) and 2 GCSE subjects graded 9 - 6 (including maths).

What can I progress onto?

To a university degree or equivalent, or a higher apprenticeship in the economics or business sectors.
