I thoroughly enjoy my job as it fulfills me with hope when I see students leave the college with the best outcomes and I know they have a good future ahead.

CURRENT ROLE

I currently teach HNC, HND and BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering, more specifically the scientific/maths based subjects including:

• Fluid Mechanics
• Engineering Maths
• Engineering Science
• Mechanical Principles
• Sustainable Design

BEFORE TEACHING...

I started as an apprentice engineer and my efforts were quickly recognised as I went on to become a manager. I was able to work with some interesting contracts with the Ministry Of Defence and worked for 20+ years in the mechanical industry

Gaining a first class honours degree while working in a dynamic and demanding industrial environment.

INSPIRATION...

I have always been fascinated with mechanical systems, how they work and how someone comes up with the original idea/design. It has been this continuing fascination that has inspired me throughout my career.

I have a first class degree in Mechanical Engineering and I have just enrolled on to my masters to pursue my skills future.
