There was much to celebrate as our Men's and Women's football teams have come top of the table in their respective leagues.

The dedication, skill, and teamwork displayed by the players throughout the season have led them to secure the top positions in the ECFA North West Men's League 1 and the ECFA North West Women's League (South).

The Women's team, in their debut season, claimed the championship by maintaining an undefeated streak. Their dominance was the result of exceptional teamwork, and an unwavering determination. Under the leadership of Captain Grace Flinn, the team has exhibited remarkable skill and unity.

Flinn expressed her joy in leading such a remarkable team by saying,

“I’ve enjoyed being the captain of this great team. Winning the league undefeated was well deserved and a fantastic achievement.”

Women’s Football Coash, Katie Chapman, said of the achievement,

“The girl's have shown excellent commitment this year to training and matches, this has had a significant impact on their successful season. It has been a pleasure coaching the girl's football team this year and they thoroughly deserved the league title. Looking forward to building on this success next season”

The Men's team secured the league title for a second season in a row. Led by Captain Jack Burke, the team has showcased their skills, winning nine and drawing three games out of 14.

Reflecting on their accomplishment, Captain Jack Burke expressed his admiration, describing the team's collective effort as,

“This was a great team performance across the season, and we were well deserved league winners."
