We were delighted to achieve an impressive set of results in the
annual Best Companies to Work For awards.
The College shared a place on the Top 100 UK’s Best Large Companies to Work For list with other
large reputable organisations such as Toyota, Camelot, Beaverbrooks and Everton
Football Club.
The announcement was made on Friday 21st May by
Best Companies, who recognise small, medium and large organisations and
businesses each year and is seen as the standard benchmark for accrediting
workplace engagement.
Entry to the prestigious awards was submitted following a college staff-wide survey undertaken to establish the levels of engagement in the workplace which earlier in the year resulted in the college being awarded with a three star accreditation with ‘World Class Workplace Engagement’ by Best Companies.
The further education college fared particularly well and
was delighted to find out they had placed an impressive 52nd (in the
country) in the Top 100 UK’s Best Large
Companies to Work For category.
The College also ranked highly, finishing 8th in
the national Education & Training Top 25 Best Organisations to Work For
which was a fantastic achievement in this newly formed category.
This accolade was
also matched by finishing a very commendable 38th in the North West
Regional Top 100 Best Companies to Work For list.
College Principal, Anna Dawe said: “This is a brilliant recognition from Best Companies for our amazing college community. I feel proud to be part of such a strong, supportive and positive college team.”
